I've known her forever. Our birthdays are two days apart and she was my very first friend. 30+ years of ridiculous stories as children, teenagers and adults. She is heavily featured in most of my best memories and her laugh ingrained in my very being. She made me funny.
Kirstina
At the tender age of 13, we cautiously became friends. At 18 we moved to Banff together, then Vernon. I was (and still am) an anxious person. She is one of the only people that never made me feel like that's the only thing I am. She made me brave.
Alanna
At 15 we looked exactly same. It only made sense that we became best friends. In high school we drove around listening to Outkast and were absolutely inseparable. We partied through our respective educations. Of which hers was a million times harder and for a much more noble cause. She made my heart big.
Erin
Sometime in our early 20's, we met and haven't stopped texting hourly since. We drink too much wine together, talk about everything and she is one of the smartest people I've ever met. She made me better at thinking.

Coming up on a decade of Tuesday wine nights, silly costumes, party planning, snuggling and so, so much laughter. We've Disney'd and Drag Raced and danced. Her brain is colourful and imaginative and I love it. She made me creative.
